Steven Decker a Physical Therapist at Joint Spine Rehabilitation
Stephen Decker has been a Physical Therapist at The Back Pain Center for over a decade, having celebrated his 12th year in June of 2016. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from State University of New York: Downstate Medical in 1980 and started his career in a hospital setting rehabilitating a wide range of patients, from burn and wound care to those with neurological disabilities. He came to The Back Pain Center in 2004 and has specialized in orthopedic disorders involving shoulders, hips, and knees ever since.

Stephen continues to attend post-graduate courses to stay up-to-date on all the latest treatments and technologies constantly evolving in physical therapy. In addition to extremity training, Stephen has extensive training in spinal decompression, McKenzie techniques for cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spines, as well as the Hesch Method for treatment of sacroiliac, pelvic, and hip disorders.

Always an athlete growing up, he is still active in sports and loves returning his patients to their sporting passions as well. Stephen is an avid golfer with a handicap of 7 and a musician. Stephen is married to his lovely wife, Joanne, and has two sons, Stephen and Ryan.
